About Cate
Cate Gonzalez is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minors in Dance and Acting for the Camera. She began her acting career at Carrollwood Elementary School in Tampa, Florida in the first grade as the Queen of Hearts in the play The Shower of Hearts.
Her recent productions include: By Any Other Name, Freaky Friday, 1776, Firebringer, and Xanadu at FAU, Ride the Cyclone andSpring Awakening with The Collective FAU, Much Ado About Nothing with The Wilde Theatre Company, Side by Side by Sondheim at The Patel Conservatory at The Straz, and Cabaret at Richey Suncoast Theatre.
Cate has many years dance and gymnastics experience, including 10+ years dance and 8 years as a competitive gymnast and is also a choreographer.
