Cate Gonzalez is a Junior at Florida Atlantic University, majoring in Musical Theatre and minoring in Acting for the Camera and in Dance. She began her acting career at Carrollwood Elementary School in Tampa, Florida in the first grade as the Queen of Hearts in the play The Shower of Hearts. 

Her recent productions include: 1776, Firebringer, and Xanadu at FAU, Ride the Cyclone and Spring Awakening with The Collective FAU, 40 Years of Broadway at Carrollwood Players, Much Ado About Nothing with The Wilde Theatre Company, Side by Side by Sondheim at The Patel Conservatory at The Straz, Cabaret and Cinderella at Richey Suncoast Theatre.

Cate has many years dance and gymnastics experience, including 8 years as a competitive gymnast and is also a choreographer.
